Flowers for you (preview)

I started to work on a new ACEO card last night. So far the process isn’t too bad. I am using acrylics, Faber-Castell Pitt pens and Strathmore Bristol Vellum acid-free paper for this. Chances are that is the type of medium I will use for most of my ACEO cards. Some problems I came across, however, was that I am in dire need of more greens and yellows. I have about three types of greens and two types of yellows in my arsenal of acrylic paints. I will invest in more paints later on though. I am in still debate if I should keep the sky blue or if its more suitable to be crimson red with some rose colors in the spirit of Valentines. I don’t know. What do you think? I believe I should be finished with the piece later on tonight. I have plans to start a new card as well later on tonight. Yes, I am trying to make a small series of Valentine’s cards originals and prints to sell. Heh. Well, here is a preview of the art piece. By the way, if you click the image below you will see a higher resolution (1043×745) version of the painting. Enjoy!
